Lihi Hod

“For me, each bride is her own world. Every bride has her special fantasy, desire and dream. For me, the process of creating the bridal gown is like making dreams become reality.

“Every bride receives our full attention and every process of designing and creation leads to a dress that is truly one of a kind.”

Lihi Hod was born and raised in Tel Aviv, and fashion design has always been an integral part of her life. She draws her inspiration from all aspects of the fashion industry, as well as her own experience with leading fashion brands abroad.

Lihi attended Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Israel. While there, her talent was recognized as outstanding and she was invited to an internship in New York to work at the famous fashion house of the American designer, Elie Tahari.

In 2005, Lihi Hod was one of ten students selected to participate in a prestigious competition in Italy, ITS (International Talent Support.) The competition invites students from around the world to take part in a promising talent discovery competition in fashion design. To compete, Lihi presented her successful project from Shenkar, called “Moments.”

Thanks to this wonderful exposure, Lihi was approached by legendary fashion designer John Galliano. She received an offer to work with him in Paris, and immediately after graduation, Lihi spent several months in John Galliano’s fashion house, Dior. She specialized in developing the details of the haute couture department under the brand.
